In 1987 Daniel Peterson purchases his first remix 12" single, La Isla Bonita by Madonna. He soon goes on to purchase many more 12" remix singles, and then saves for two turntables and a mixer and begins to practice DJing. |

In 1990 Daniel Peterson begins performing weddings and other events for a San Diego multi-system mobile DJ company. Between that time and now he has performed hundreds of mobile DJ events. |

In 1994 Daniel Peterson starts the "Rewired" Friday and Saturday night radio mix show on More FM 98.9 and DJs as "Dano". The is show's sole mix show DJ for two and a half years. He also DJs the station's club nights and Mexicali En La Playa parties. |

While still DJing for More FM, in 1995 Daniel Peterson utilizes his mixing skills as DJ Dano on Friday nights for the Gaslamp Quarter's Cabo Cabo restaurant. |

During the Summer of 1996, Daniel Peterson performs mix sets as DJ Dano for "The Flash Zone", the Saturday night mix show on The Flash 92.5 FM. |

Daniel Peterson DJs The Flash's special station club nights at Emerald City. During 1996 and 1997 he DJs regularly for Pacific Beach's Emerald City and Club Tremors. |

In the Summer of 1998 Daniel Peterson DJs for Club Le Siecle in Brussels, Belgium, playing club and house music and resharpening his French language skills. |

In 1998 Daniel Peterson earns a degree in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations from San Diego State University. |

In 2002, after DJing for clubs, radio and various mobile disc jockey companies, Daniel Peterson invests in excellent pro sound equipment and begins Disco Friend. |

Daniel Peterson runs Disco Friend full time. When he is not preparing for the next weekend's Disco Friend events, he often is at work in his studio on various productions.
