| "We challenged Daniel with recreating a modern dance club environment with high-energy dance music while also pleasing an older crowd with more traditional party music. Daniel superbly accomplished this impossible task, and from my survey, I am convinced he is the only DJ in San Diego that could have achieved this. Daniel expertly blended two disparate styles of music in a way that kept guests of all ages on the dance floor. His creative solution to play 'club remixes' of familiar songs that were simultaneously comfortable to a wide audience while being fast-paced and motivating. To our delight, Daniel also exploited his experience as a club DJ by bringing twin turntables with which to continuously mix songs together so as not to interrupt the flow of the music. Daniel exhibited excellent judgment on how to pace the event with both slow and fast songs that involved guests on the dance floor and kept them there. Aside from numerous positive comments I received from guests regarding his performance, the most convincing evidence of the crowd's enjoyment was the suprisingly large number of guests who stayed for the entire reception late into the night. Recognizing how particular our demands of Daniel Peterson were that night, we are completely satisfied with the services he provided us at our wedding reception, and we owe much of the success of the event to him." |
