This page includes a few important questions that anyone in the market for a mobile disc jockey will benefit from asking to any prospective service.

During the 14 years that Daniel Peterson has performed as a mobile disc jockey, each event has tought him something new about performing as a mobile disc jockey. Years of performing as a mobile disc jockey has added up to the experience necessary for him to know what to do and when to do it at each event.
A lot of multi-system disc jockey companies may employ disc jockeys who have been performing for under a year or even just a few months. The actual company may have existed for 15 years, but the actual disc jockey they send to your event may have less than a year of mobile disc jockey experience. If the level of experience of your disc jockey is important to you, then it's important to find out the actual amount of experience the disc jockey contracted for your event really has.

In other words, how much has been invested in the professional audio equipment that will be used at your event? Some mobile disc jockey companies save money by using adequate, basic sound systems. The result can be distorted or unclear sound that lacks attractiveness. While a great disc jockey can still provide lots of fun moments on the dance floor using a poor sound system, obviously people will have a better experience with that same disc jockey using a quality sound system that provides clean crispy highs and solid punchy bass.
Daniel Peterson has put a considerable investment of time and money into the Disco Friend sound system, which includes products from the best names in professional audio.
Among other gear, the Disco Friend sound system includes four EAW speakers, two amplifiers of power, Denon turntable-style CD players, a Shure Beta 87 wireless microphone system, and elgant Martin lighting. For more sound system information, please click here.

Most mobile disc jockey services will answer "yes" to this question. The key is to make sure that you will meet with the actual disc jockey that will be providing the music and announcements at your event. Some disc jockey companies may have the owner or a special sales agent meet with you initally, and later send one of their staff DJs to your event. It's recommended to actually able to meet with the disc jockey who will perform your event.
For wedding receptions Daniel Peterson meets with the client at least twice before the event. Initially Daniel introduces himself personally to the client. If the client decides to use Disco Friend as their DJ, then later Daniel personally meets with client about a week before the actual wedding date to plan the wedding reception itinerary.
