THE FIRST DANCE The bride and groom's first dance may take place immediately after the Grand Entrance or it may take place after dinner as a way to begin the dancing part of the wedding celebration. In many parts of the nation it's traditional to have the Bride and Groom's grand entrance move immediately into their first dance. In San Diego it's very popular to place the First Dance right after dinner.

THE PARENT DANCES The Parent or "Honor Dances" follow the first dance. The Father-Daughter Dance and the Mother-Son Dance can be two separate dances with two separate songs, or both can be combined into one dance. It's very popular to invite the father and bride out to the dancefloor first, then a little into the song invite the mother and son to join them on the dancefloor. This dance typically follows the First Dance. Click here for a list of parent dance ideas.

THE BRIDAL PARTY DANCE This special dance follows the parent dances and is a fun way to celebrate the friends in the Bridal Party on the dancefloor. Some brides and grooms decide on an upbeat song for their bridal party. Click here for a list of bridal party dance ideas.
