Every wedding requires its own unique blend of music, atmosphe re and festivity. For this reason, Disco Friend relies on lots of communication and personal face to face planning meetings with the bride and groom to map out the special timeline and music requests for their wedding celebration. What follows is a basic primer on what often takes place at wedding receptions in San Diego. Brides and grooms may choose to add certain special events or family traditions to what follows, or they may wish to omit some of what is mentioned. This is a basic outline on what often takes place at many wedding receptions. |

| During the initial "cocktail hour" the Bride and Groom will make their grand entrance into the reception location. Often special music can be chosen for the Grand Entrance, and Disco Friend can make a number of suggestions; click here for a list of popular grand entrance titles. The Grand Entrance can include a promenade that begins with grandparents and parents, includes the flower girl and ring bearer and members of the bridal party. Or it may simply include the Bride and Groom. This one is a matter of taste, namely it's the choice of the Bride and Groom. |
|
After the Grand Entrance, the Newlyweds may choose to give a welcome to their guests. This welcome can then be followed by a dinner blessing given by a clergy, family member or friend, as dinner is about to follow. Again, all of the details of the Grand Entrance are decided upon by the Bride and Groom.
